My name is Xander Viger and I am one of the founders of Lavender Sea Trading Company or LavSea as we call it. I graduated from Dr. Charles Best Secondary, Coquitlam as part of the COVID Class of 2020. We created LavSea with the goal of making it easier to find, buy, deliver and use every day consumable products that are made in BC. We are also the Creators of LAVENDIZER what we believe to be the best Hand Sanitizer available that doesn’t make you smell like Vodka. 

As we move forward with our vision for shop.LavSea.com and our goal to sell products from other local Creators, we saw an opportunity to reach more supporters by helping future graduates raise funds to support the new COVID influenced Grad Events. I was lucky, we had at least half a normal Grad Year. My friends in the Class of 2021 and my sister’s class of 2022 will have an even stranger graduation experience. 

Grad committees have new challenges in raising funds and we hope that GradFundr by LavSea will help them more easily raise funds to help pay for new types of graduation celebration and events. If we have learned nothing else from COVID-19, it is life must keep moving forward and we must seek out new ways to celebrate our achievements and milestones.
